PLETTAC METRIX is a revolutionary ring system, designed and produced with German engineering using the latest technologies, including 3D mode-lling, stress analysis software and state of the art manufacturing. Being a fully NASC compliant and CISRS approved system; it exceeds all necessary British and European standards.

The system has many advantages over other ring based systems and, as the name suggests, is completely metric. With bay lengths and breadths being divisible by one another, along with the system being completely tubular, PLETTAC METRIX is a highly adaptable modular system. The Plettac rosette creates an incredibly strong and rigid joint, allowing up to 8 connections at various angles.

In addition, there is an exclusive optional Permanent Advanced Guardrail system which allows the scaffolders to work in complete safety from the level below, while complying fully with the NASC’s guidance note SG4. Both of these unique features of the system lead to significant benefits, including reduced equipment levels, labour savings, decreased assembly times and improved safety.

Our experienced sales team can offer guidance to customers through on-site surveys and estimating. To supplement this, there is full engineering support in the UK and we can offer a suite of AutoCAD Blocks, a component capacity manual and various data sheets to help our clients reach the optimum solutions in design for their access requirements.

Permanent Advanced Guardrail

Permanent Advanced Guardrail

The optional Permanent Advanced Guardrail is used as an alternative to the traditional method of forming guardrails with ledgers. As the guardrails are installed from the secured level below, scaffold operatives are constantly within a protected area, giving full compliance to the NASC’s guidance note SG4.

The guardrail also complies with the definition of a multiservice guardrail unit as set out in Annex B of BS EN 12810-1. From the 1.5m length up to the 3.0m size, this component also gives longitudinal bracing to the façade of the scaffold by providing a vertical stiff plane. In most situations this allows the scaffold to be built without the use vertical diagonal brace, although please refer to the PLETTAC METRIX User Guide for more detailed advice.
